Description

For a touch of contemporary charm, choose the Camille Cushion in Denim. The rich blue tone adds depth and dimension to your space, while the soft fabric ensures lasting comfort. Whether styled alone or layered with other cushions, it is a versatile and stylish addition to your home.

Our Stylist Says

The Camille cushion in denim is a versatile piece that adds a relaxed, cosy touch to various interiors. I love how its soft, muted blue tone complements both neutral and colour-rich schemes, making it adaptable for living rooms, bedrooms, or even a contemporary lounge. It works particularly well styled with textured throws, layered on a neutral sofa to introduce subtle colour and comfort. Practical styling tips include pairing it with tactile fabrics like linen or wool for a cosy aesthetic, or mixing it with contrasting patterns and textures to create an effortlessly chic look. Its understated design makes it a reliable choice for adding warmth and personality without overpowering the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
