Description

Add warmth and texture to your interior with the Charcoal Cable Knit Cushion. Its charming cable-knit pattern on both sides and the 45 x 45cm size make it a cosy addition to your home. The charcoal colour complements various decor styles, specifically darker themed interiors, ideal for styling in pairs on any sofa or bed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chunky cable knit cushion for adding texture and a cosy feel to a range of interiors. Its charcoal shade makes it quite versatile, working well in both modern and more traditional settings, especially those with darker colour schemes or layered neutrals. A practical styling tip is to combine it with lighter cushions for contrast, or to place it on a textured throw for a relaxed, inviting look. It’s perfect for lounges or bedrooms where comfort is a priority, and its tactile knit adds visual interest without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
