I’m a fan of the Brooklyn’s solid oak top paired with gunmetal legs - it brings just the right mix of warmth and industrial edge. Its clean, rectangular shape works well in minimalist, Scandi or urban loft settings, whether you use it as a dining table or a desk.
For styling, choose simple black-metal or leather chairs and anchor the table with a natural-fibre rug. Keep accessories low and uncluttered: a ceramic vase with greenery, a small stack of books and a stone bowl all help to show off the materials and maintain crisp, modern lines.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
