Made from solid oak, this bench offers a rustic dark oak finish emphasising the stunning natural wood grain. The Brooklyn Bench offers a vintage edge featuring industrial trapeze-style metal legs. I love this grey bench for its clean lines and channel-tufted seat, which give it a modern-industrial edge without looking heavy. It works equally well in a hallway, at the foot of the bed or as extra seating in a Scandi-inspired living room, and the neutral grey upholstery will sit happily alongside both muted and bolder colour schemes.
For practical styling, layer on a woollen throw and a simple cushion to introduce texture. In an entryway, tuck shallow baskets underneath for discreet shoe storage; in a bedroom, top it with a slim rattan tray to corral books or a plant. Its narrow metal frame means it fits into tighter spots without overwhelming the space.
