I love how the Brooklyn shelf’s bleached-pine finish brings a light, natural feel without overwhelming a room. Its clean, straight lines suit Scandi, coastal or modern-farmhouse schemes and work equally well in a living room, home office or even hallway. For styling, mix a few reference books with woven baskets on the lower shelf to conceal clutter, then add a small plant or a ceramic vase on the middle tier. Keep negative space by grouping accessories in odd numbers and finish with a photo frame or sculptural object on top to give it personality.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
