Description

The Lavina Candlestick by Bloomingville is made of marble in brown shades. Mix and match with other candlesticks for a more personal expression. The beauty of a natural stone is that no two pieces are exactly alike. Each is a unique piece of art forged by mother nature over millennia using heat, pressure, and lots of different minerals and organic materials. The way these minerals settle into the stone is what causes the huge array of colors, patterns, texture, and veining in each slab. Size H6.5,. Diameter 5cm.

Our Stylist Says

This marble candle holder set is a versatile addition to various interiors due to its natural material and understated design. I love how it brings a subtle touch of luxury without being overly ornate, making it perfect for contemporary, minimalist, or even rustic schemes. It works particularly well in neutral or monochromatic colour palettes, where it can add texture and visual interest. For styling tips, try grouping the smaller candles on a tray alongside other natural materials like wood or linen for a cosy, layered look. Its sturdy, substantial feel also makes it suitable for placing on side tables, mantels, or shelves, effortlessly elevating everyday spaces with its understated elegance.

About Habitat

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
