I’m a fan of this black glass coffee table for its sleek profile and practical lower shelf, which makes it ideal in contemporary or minimalist schemes. The dark, reflective top brings contrast against light-coloured sofas and rugs, while the metal legs give a subtle industrial edge.
To style it, keep clutter to a minimum: a small stack of books, a sculptural vase in a neutral tone and a trailing plant add interest without overwhelming the surface. In cosier settings you might layer a textured tray to group candles or coasters, making the table both attractive and functional.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
