I’m a big fan of this grey console for its clean lines and chrome-frame detail - it slots effortlessly into contemporary, minimalist or even transitional halls and living rooms without feeling too heavy. The glass top keeps the look light, while the angular X-base adds just enough visual interest.
For styling, think simple clusters: a round mirror hung above, one or two neatly stacked coffee-table books, a low-profile vase of foliage and a slimline lamp or decorative tray. In a narrow hallway, add a bowl for keys and keep accessories pared back to let the console’s silhouette shine.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
