Description
Serve a sumptuous helping of Mid-Century Scandinavian craftsmanship to any dining table with this Wooden Wishbone Dining Chair from Nicholas Winter. With its chic Scandinavian-inspired silhouette, this chair stands as an undisputed style icon that elegantly brings together two of the most prevailing trends in interior and furniture design. The sturdy FSC-certified natural beech wood frame has been steam-bent for a smooth finish, while the distinctive 'Y' provides long-lasting comfort by promoting proper posture. A woven rope seat lends every chair an air of rustic charm and character, perfect for bringing a little extra warmth to dining rooms, restaurants, offices and reception areas alike.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of these wishbone chairs for their clean lines and the way the black beech frame paired with a natural woven seat adds just the right amount of contrast without overwhelming a space. They work brilliantly in Scandinavian-inspired dining rooms, modern farmhouse kitchens or even pared-back industrial lofts. For styling, team them with a simple oak table and a neutral jute rug to keep the focus on the chairs’ form. A slim seat pad in a muted tone will add comfort without hiding the weave, and echoing the black frame in your lighting or shelving brackets will pull the whole look together.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
