Description

With three beautiful glass shelves, the Varano 1300 gives you generous and easy access storage for all your home entertainment equipment. Its angled legs mean it fits just as well in a corner as flat against a wall. Two lower shelves ensure a large capacity for your receivers, media players and games consoles. Suitable for TVs up to 65", the top shelf supports weights up to 50kg, and its two lower shelves 10kg each. Fits in a corner or flat against a wall Black tempered safety glass top surface and lower shelving Cable management features keep wires neatly out of sight Easy to assemble Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this corner TV stand for its clever use of smoked glass and oak-effect panels - it slots effortlessly into a nook, maximising floor space in both compact lounges and open-plan living areas. The black glass shelves lend a contemporary edge that works beautifully in Scandi, industrial or neutral-toned schemes, while the oak finish brings a touch of warmth. Practically, the three tiers give you room for consoles, soundbars and streaming boxes, with built-in cable-routing to keep wires out of sight. For styling, try balancing the dark glass with pale ceramics or a small potted plant on the middle shelf, and wall-mount your TV above to maintain a clean, uncluttered look.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
