I’m a big fan of this Scandi TV unit for its clean lines, muted grey woodgrain and mixed-finish drawer fronts - it feels fresh without dominating the room. It sits equally well in a pared-back Scandi scheme, a Japandi look or a contemporary living space, and its slide-door and drawers keep wires and remotes neatly hidden. For styling, I’d float a slimline TV above, layer a couple of low vases or a sculptural bowl on one side, and balance with a stack of design books or a small plant on the other.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
