Description

AVF's Dartmouth TV stand offers a sleek, uncomplicated design with a soft curved front and shaped back which makes it ideal for placing in corners or along flat walls. It's designed to support TVs up to 60” (and 40kg), with two lower shelves giving ample room for sound bars and all your audio-visual accessories. The internal shelf is adjustable, so it can accommodate devices of various sizes, and supports up to 10kg, with the lower fixed shelf holding 15kg. An enclosed rear panel with two cable management oulets keep cables neatly organised and out of sight. Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the AVF Dartmouth 1200 for its straightforward design and functional appeal. It works well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, thanks to its clean lines and versatile wood finish. It’s an ideal choice if you’re looking to keep media areas clutter-free, as its open shelves provide easy access for media players, remotes, and other accessories. A practical styling tip is to pair it with proportionate accessories-like small indoor plants or sleek decorative boxes-to add personality without overwhelming the space. You can also consider stacking storage baskets or decorative trays on the shelves to keep manuals and cables organised, maintaining a neat and polished look.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
