Description
The Arya lamps, by Giulio Cappellini and Antonio Facco, display soft and curving lines, inspired by ancient Asian porcelain pieces. With their elegant and back-to-basics design, the Arya lamps can add a subtle, Eastern charm to modern spaces. The look of the Arya lamps changes vastly when they're switched on. The coloured glass diffuser, with an essential form, is matte and opaque when the light is off. Once illuminated, it becomes slightly translucent, giving off a soft light. The result of the ancient art forged by Murano master glass-blowers, the Arya lamp diffusers are made with hand-blown and moulded coloured glass. Given the hand-crafted manufacture process, any uneven colouring or thickness, or any air bubbles should be seen as precious features.
