Our Annecy armchair offers sophisticated refinement and an ageless look. A tailored back provides firm support while the base cushions have a foam and feather fill for a squishy inviting seat. P-shaped arms are neatly piped for a premium finish and turned wooden legs on castors provide an extra touch of elegance to this handsome armchair. A matching sofa is available as a two or three seater option and the Annecy range also includes an ottoman. I’m a fan of the juniper chair for its rich, slightly muted green velvet that brings depth without overwhelming a room. Its classic rolled arms and turned feet slot neatly into both contemporary and more traditional schemes - it’s just as happy in a Scandi-influenced living area as it is adding a jewel-tone focus to a neutral lounge. For styling, position it beside a slim-lined side table in natural oak or brushed metal, then layer a soft, tonal throw over one arm and a contrasting lumbar cushion to break up the plush upholstery. Velvet needs gentle care, so keep it away from direct sunlight and give it a quick brush now and then to maintain that soft, even nap.
