I’m a fan of this black sideboard for its clean lines and slim metal legs, which give it a lightweight, modern feel. The tinted glass doors keep things looking neat while letting you showcase glassware or ceramics. It’s equally at home in a minimalist flat, an industrial-style lounge or a Scandi-inspired dining room.
Styling tips: on top, mix a low tray of candles or diffusers with a couple of books and a sculptural vase to balance heights. Inside, use uniform baskets or simple boxes to keep cables, table linens or board games organised. Placing it against a pale wall will make its matte finish stand out, while a low runner rug can anchor the whole look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
