Description
Add a fun pop of colour to your desk or bedside table with this Paul Smith Type 75 mini desk lamp from Anglepoise. Originally designed by Sir Kenneth Grange in the 1970s, the Type 75 lamp is a design icon to this day and has now been reimagined by esteemed designer Paul Smith. With elegance and fun pops of colour, it has a sturdy cast iron base topped with an aluminium shade and the arm is operated by Anglepoise’s constant tension spring technology.
Our Stylist Says
I love this desk lamp for its playful yet functional design, which combines classic form with a modern twist thanks to Paul Smith’s signature colour accents. It works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors where statement accessories are key. For styling, consider placing it on a minimalist desk or alongside colourful desk accessories to make it pop. Its adjustable arm makes it versatile for task lighting, and it lends a considered touch to workspaces, bedside tables, or even a living room corner. To keep the look cohesive, pair it with other accent pieces featuring similar colour pops or clean lines, allowing it to serve both as a practical light source and a distinctive decorative element.
