Description
This Anemos pendant from Arik Levy skilfully combines a natural materials and contemporary design in a very on-trend ethnic chic style. The upper part is made from glazed ceramic. The bottom part is made from natural bamboo twigs. Evoking the outline of a sea anemone, this pendant which plays with solid and empty structures has great lightness visually due to its openwork structure. The bamboo twigs cast delicate shadows over the walls. The Anemos pendants are made by hand in the Philippines. The relationship between Forestier and the Philippines and, more specifically with the Philippine craftspeople has lasted over 15 years. Anemos is a creative and poetic light, with craftsmanship, design, nature and raw materials as its anchoring points. Sculptor, photographer, set designer and regular designer, the Israeli artist, Arik Levy, is a shape-shifting and prolific creator who never ceases to surprise us.
