The Androgyne table is the creation of Norwegian architect and designer Danielle Siggerud. This table was originally designed to furnish the café space of the Menu showroom, which could be found in the "The Audio" hotel in Copenhagen. The Androgyne table collection presents simple silhouettes combined with elegant materials. Celebrating craftsmanship and wood, the Androgyne table is available with a walnut, stained oak or natural oak base and tabletops in wood, Kunis Breccia stone or Calcatta Viola marble. This table is also available in stones made entirely of stone or marble. The Kunis Breccia sand-coloured stone is a limestone which resembles marble and which stands out with its various tones of beige and brown, subtly intertwined. The classic and noble look of the materials combines wonderfully with the modern and graphic style of the base. This open structure is constituted of inter-crossed panels. The flat shapes and the central opening play with our perception of the volumes, offering an amusing interplay of perspective. This coffee table will go equally as well in very modern and more traditional interiors.
This side table has a sleek, minimalist design that works well in modern and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The mix of stone beige and natural wood gives it a versatile, neutral palette, making it easy to pair with both warm and cool colour schemes. I love pairing it with neutral-toned sofas or bedding, where its simple silhouette adds visual interest without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include using it as a bedside table or accent piece, topped with a small lamp, books, or decorative objects to keep the look clean and uncluttered. Its compact size makes it perfect for smaller spaces or as an additional surface in a lounge or hallway, and the natural materials add a touch of understated elegance that feels timeless.
