Its matte stone-look top and slim metal legs slot seamlessly into contemporary, industrial or Scandi-inspired schemes. For styling, keep the tabletop clear save for a simple runner or a low bowl of green foliage, then mix and match upholstered chairs in muted tones to soften the overall look. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
