Description

Handmade from luxurious cotton velvet with a contrasting flat fabric trim in six vibrant colours, our Amara collection combines a generous feather filling with a sumptuously soft cover to provide maximum comfort for your sofa, armchair or bed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this dark cushion for its versatile, understated tone that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. The Amara Rectangular Charcoal fits perfectly in spaces aiming for a neutral palette with a hint of contrast, adding depth without overpowering the overall look. It's ideal for lounges, bedrooms, or even as an understated accent in a layered sofa arrangement. For practical styling, try pairing it with textured throws or mix it with lighter shades like creams or blushes to prevent the space from feeling too monochromatic. Its understated colour makes it a clever staple, easily adaptable to seasonal updates or different colour schemes.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
