Not only did Arne Jacobsen design the hotel down to the very last detail for airline SAS, he also designed almost all of the hotel's furnishings, lighting and accessories. The AJ lamp is one of Arne Jacobsen's best-known creations. The AJ series is now considered to be the model which put the Danish architect's name on the global scene. Originally, the product family included a floor lamp, a wall light, and a table lamp.
