Organic beauty. Designed by Mattia Albicini, Agave is a collection of tables and chairs whose lines are inspired by the sinuous shapes of the leaves of the plant that bears the same name. The solid teak, used to make the different pieces, is worked by Ethimo with such craftsmanship that it manages to recreate the supple movements, fine profiles and silky surface of the Agave plant. Moreover, like leaves that let water run off them, Mattia Albicini’s project stands out for the fine groove at the line of symmetry which serves both as a drainage system and an elegant decorative detail. With Agave, indoor and outdoor become one: this collection can easily adapt to an outdoor garden, by the sea, out in the countryside or in an indoor living room.
