The three open shelves keep trainers and loafers neatly on display while the top surface doubles as a handy seat or landing spot for bags.
For a polished look, tuck woven baskets on the bottom shelf for scarves and gloves, add a slim cushion on top in a neutral fabric, then hang a simple mirror above to reflect light. It’s a straightforward way to blend storage and style without overcrowding your entrance.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
