Exemplifying beautiful simplicity, Chair 66 was designed by Alvar Aalto and features an elegant form with the designer's signature bent birch legs, in a choice of white or black lacquers or a natural birch finish with a black linoleum seat. Showcasing a simple round seat, the chair's back ergonomically fits around the sitter and is stackable for easy storing, all crafted from natural birch wood using a mixture of traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques. Alvar Aalto was one of the founding members of Finnish manufacturer, Artek, and embraced strong individuality with focus on designing predominantly for humanity, creating functional and dynamic pieces for public and personal spaces alike.
