Betty chair TK1 is designed by Jakob Thau and Sami Kallio for the Danish brand &Tradition. The stackable chair has a prominent seat made of linen fabric straps and a backrest made of molded veneer. The beautiful chair is available in several lovely colors.

I’m a big fan of the Betty chair for its pared-back silhouette and the clever contrast between that matt black ash frame and the woven natural-cotton seat. Its slim, unadorned profile makes it a great fit in Scandi-inspired or minimalist schemes, and it can also ground a more eclectic dining space without competing for attention.
For styling, try it around a light-oak table or a simple white top to echo the frame’s clean lines.
