Description

This Velvet Footstool from Harbour Housewares offers great additional seating to any lounge, bedroom or study, whilst also serving as a beautifully decorative piece to add to your interior. Constructed from high-quality wood, these stools possess the perfect combination of lightness and stability, and their petite shape makes them ideal for tucking under a desk or vanity table, creating a convenient space-saver. A layer of foam padding neatly encompasses the stools, ensuring lasting comfort, whilst the soft velvet covering creates the ultimate level of luxury. The metal hairpin legs, meanwhile, protect surfaces from scuffs and scratches whilst further accentuating the stool's elegant, stylish aesthetic. Available in a choice of colour tones for both seat and legs, our Accent Furniture collection can be perfectly tailored to suit whatever your stylistic vision of home may be.

Our Stylist Says

This footstool is a fantastic piece for adding both colour and texture to a variety of interiors. The lush green velvet makes it a versatile accent that can bring a touch of luxe to contemporary, boho, or even vintage schemes. I love it paired with neutral sofas to create a pop of colour or used as an extra seat in a cosy corner. The hairpin legs give it a modern, minimalist edge, while the round top emphasises softness and comfort. Practical styling tips include layering it with larger pouffes or stacking books underneath for added visual interest. It’s perfect for spaces where you want a versatile, stylish piece that can serve as both an extra seat or footrest.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
