The natural finish of this 100% cotton blanket elegantly blends with your existing bedding or sofa, adding this throw creates a modern layered look to any space. Our Stylist Says

This throw is a versatile piece that adds cosy texture and warmth to a range of interiors. I love its natural cotton finish, which lends a relaxed, understated look perfect for both contemporary and rustic themes. It works especially well layered over neutral-toned sofas or beds to create a welcoming, lived-in feel. Practical styling tips include folding it neatly at the end of a bed or draping it casually over a sofa arm to invite comfort. Its natural colour makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes, and it’s ideal for adding warmth in seasonal settings or when hosting guests. This throw offers both style and functionality, making it a staple for enhancing any cosy corner of your home.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
