Red Sofabeds

Red is the boldest choice of all, and makes an instant focal point in a room. Compare 932 red sofabeds from 14 retailers on Flitch, with prices for most of them running from around £200 to £3,600 – so there’s choice across a wide range of budgets.

Red sofabeds on Flitch

You’ll find the widest choice at Loaf, Sofa.com and Furniture Village. More than half of the red sofabeds are fabric and about a third are velvet. Red often works best as the one strong colour in an otherwise neutral room.

How much do red sofabeds cost?

Half of all red sofabeds on Flitch cost less than £1,700. That’s about three times the price of sofabeds in general, which usually cost around £500. The biggest difference in price comes down to material: leather ones typically cost £3,200, about 14 times the price of fabric ones at £230. Style matters too, with contemporary designs at around £1,600 against £800 for modern designs.

What other shoppers are choosing

Grey and beige sofabeds are also popular with shoppers, if you’re not set on red. Clic-clac sofabeds are popular with shoppers, but there are fewer to choose from than most other types. Retailers have also been stocking more contemporary sofabeds this year, so there’s a wider choice available.

Is now a good time to buy red sofabeds?

Right now 6 red sofabeds are reduced, typically by 20%. About one in ten red sofabeds are cheaper than they’ve usually been over the last three months. Discounts come round often, too: about two in five have dropped in price at some point in that time. If you can wait a couple of months, January is usually the best time to buy sofabeds: in each of the last two Januarys, more than twice as many were below their usual price as in a typical month. Either way, set a price alert on the one you want and we’ll tell you when it drops.
