Description

Capitalise on the current copper trend with the Zyra floor lamp! The lamp is perfect for giving a soft ambient glow to a dark corner or over a chair for reading. The sleek copper design provides a statement modern image. There is a glass accent to the top of the shade, whilst the rest of the copper glass allows for a softer and more comforting shine. The slim stem and smooth globe shaped head won't take up too much room either, so this lamp is ideal for interiors with a shortage of space! sleek copper design is simplistic and on trend; gives a soft ambient glow to the room; ideal for dark corners or next to a chair to read under.

Our Stylist Says

I love this floor lamp for its sleek, modern take on metallic finishes, with the copper adding warmth and an eye-catching touch to contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired spaces, where its reflective surface can add a subtle statement without overwhelming the decor. For practical styling, consider placing it next to a cosy armchair or a neutral sofa to elevate the overall look, and use warm LED bulbs to enhance its copper tones. Its slim profile makes it versatile for smaller spaces or corners, and its striking design naturally draws the eye as both a functional and decorative piece.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
