Description

The Zuberi Mango Wood King Bed Frame is a stunning blend of simplicity and rustic charm, perfect for creating a warm and inviting bedroom. Crafted from solid mango wood with a natural finish, this bed frame highlights the beauty of its rich grain patterns. The arched headboard adds a soft, elegant touch, while the sturdy slatted base offers reliable support for a restful night's sleep. Ideal for both contemporary and traditional interiors, this bed frame exudes timeless appeal.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of this neutral-wood king-size frame for its clean lines and warm, natural finish. The gently slatted headboard brings texture without overwhelming the room, and the low-profile design keeps the look feeling light and spacious. It works equally well in Scandi, contemporary or laid-back boho schemes. Keep bedding in muted tones - think olive, terracotta or soft greys - and layer in a textured throw and a couple of linen cushions for depth. Pair with simple, matching bedside tables, a woven rug at the foot of the bed and a couple of pot plants to complete a relaxed yet refined bedroom.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
