Price History

Description

Full Bovine cowhides have spectacular markings and are a great way to add warmth and texture to wooden or stone flooring. Our zebra printed cowhide is no exception, with natural blemishes and minor imperfections, making each piece truly unique.

Our Stylist Says

The zebra printed cowhide rug is a versatile piece that adds a touch of boldness and texture to a variety of interiors. I love how it can bring a natural, safari-inspired vibe to both contemporary and eclectic spaces, making it a focal point without overwhelming the room. It works particularly well layered over neutral or monochrome rugs, creating visual interest and contrast. Practical styling tips include placing it under a coffee table to anchor a seating arrangement or using it to define a lounge area in open-plan spaces. Its understated elegance makes it suitable for both relaxed living rooms and more polished, sophisticated interiors.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
