The black finish adds a timeless appeal to your outdoor space.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the Zeb adjustable post light combines modern functionality with a sleek, minimalist design. Its black finish makes it versatile enough to suit contemporary garden settings or outdoor spaces with darker colour palettes. It works particularly well when paired with clean, geometric landscaping or alongside natural materials like stone and timber. Practical styling tips include positioning it to highlight pathways or entrance areas, and adjusting the height to create focal points without overwhelming the space. This light not only enhances curb appeal but also adds a subtle, sophisticated layer of illumination, making outdoor living both functional and inviting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
