Description

Skilfully hand-woven by talented artisans in India, our eco-friendly Yaro rug promises to bring natural, earthy tones to your space. Crafted from a hemp blend, a durable and sustainable natural fibre, this timeless rug is easy to maintain and blends in seamlessly to any interior style.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Yaro Medium Natural Woven Hemp Rug for its versatile, earthy appeal, making it a great foundation in both contemporary and rustic interiors. Its neutral tone and textured weave add warmth and subtle character without overwhelming the space. This rug works particularly well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even open-plan areas where you want to anchor a seating or dining arrangement. For styling tips, consider pairing it with natural textiles, such as linen cushions or wicker furniture, to enhance its organic vibe. Practical advice would be to use a non-slip underlay to keep it in place and maintain its good looks, especially in higher traffic areas. Overall, a low-maintenance, stylish choice for adding understated warmth to a variety of interiors.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
