I’ve been using the oak writing desk for several shoots now and it’s a firm favourite for its clean lines, generous surface and subtle curved legs that stop it feeling boxy. It’s equally at home in a Scandi-inspired study or a pared-back modern home office, and the two slim drawers help keep cables and stationery out of sight. To style it, I’d position a slim desk lamp towards one end and balance it with a small potted plant or sculptural vase on the other. Tuck a woven basket underneath for files and add a simple floating shelf above to display notebooks or artwork - this keeps the desktop clear and lets the woodgrain shine.
