About the frame Made from solid iron, the frame is designed with box legs and a slatted headboard. It has a high-quality powder-coated finish that works as a protective layer. About the mattress The king size mattress is designed with a zip link for ease of storage. This means it can be used as one large mattress or as two independent mattresses. The slatted base of the frame provides a firmer foundation for this mattress which is filled with open coils. It must be stored away when not in use.
