Description

Give your home more personality with the striking Exeter desk from tectake. Designed for functionality, it offers plenty of versatility, though its simple work surface, practical storage compartments and overhead shelf - giving more options than other desks throughout the day. Plus, the durable materials and adjustable soft feet make the furniture suitable for any home office. The contrast of steel and wood creates the characteristic industrial look, with the appealing oak grain creating a harmonious contrast. The minimalist design and the open construction give the narrow table an attractive lightness and help it fit into any corner of your home or office.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this writing desk because it offers a clean, modern look with a touch of industrial style. The oak Sonoma finish gives it a warm, natural feel that works beautifully in both contemporary and Scandinavian interiors. Its overhead storage adds practicality, helping to keep clutter at bay, which is perfect for smaller spaces or home offices. For styling, I’d suggest pairing it with minimalist accessories - like a sleek desk lamp and a few well-chosen organisational trays - to keep the workspace functional yet stylish. This desk works especially well in open-plan homes with neutral tones, but it can also add a touch of warmth to more eclectic or industrial-inspired interiors.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
