Description

Beautiful style and quality gives the Woolton 100cm Round Dining Table, Blue Stone and Mid Burnt Oak its bold yet natural appeal. A great way to spice up any dining space, the Woolton is crafted with smooth bluestone top and turned wooden base for an elegant and refined look. Finland pine is finished in Mid Burnt Oak, beautifully highlighting the natural grains of the wood. With an overall natural aesthetic, the table sits well within a wide range of interior schemes, from rustic country kitchens to modern vintage dining rooms.

Our Stylist Says

I love this round dining table for its versatility and timeless appeal. The white finish makes it a great centrepiece that can complement both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in compact kitchens or dining spaces that benefit from a clean, bright look. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with upholstered chairs in neutral tones for a cosy, inviting feel, or add a pop of colour with bold seat covers for a more eclectic vibe. Its shape encourages conversation, making it ideal for both everyday family meals and intimate gatherings. The textured base adds a rustic touch, which can be emphasised with accessories like woven placemats or greenery to create a balanced, inviting aesthetic.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
