Description

* Crafted from Wool * Unique flecked design * Fringed edge * Low profile flatweave Bring a flood of colour into your home with the Wool Flatweave Fringed Rug. Crafted from wool this versatile rug is woven in a low profile flatweave and finished with a subtle fringe, ideal for styling under furniture. Each piece is unique due to the hand crafted nature with varying flecks and subtle colour variations. This rug is hardwearing and perfect for high traffic areas, ideal to enhance any space. Why Wool? Choose wool for its natural durability, cosy warmth, and easy maintenance. Naturally resilient, wool fibres bounce back easily, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. They also act as a natural sound and heat insulator, helping to create a quieter, cosier space. The Rug Pictured is: 160cm x 230cm. Care:Wool is a natural fibre, and shedding is normal for a long period. Unroll your rug and leave for 24 hours during first use. Maintain your Wool rug by vacuuming regularly with a nozzle attachment, this will reduce shedding over time. Cut any loose fibres with scissors, do not pull. For accidental spills blot immediately and spot clean with a damp white cloth, do not rub or over saturate the fibres to keep them soft and plush. Add an anti-slip underneath your rug to prevent slipping. Rotate every few months to prolong the life of your rug.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this wool flatweave rug for its versatility and understated style. Its simple, neutral design makes it easy to incorporate into a wide range of interiors, from contemporary to Scandinavian or even traditional schemes. The flatweave texture adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for areas like living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways. Practical tips include layering it over existing carpets to add warmth or using a non-slip underlay to keep it secure. Its durability also makes it a sensible choice for high-traffic areas, while its natural fibres bring a cosy, tactile quality that enhances any room's comfort.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.
