* Chunky Basketweave Design * Wool and Cotton blend * Chunky fringe edging * Handmade and woven * Textural and Timeless Wool Basketweave Chunky runner wraps your room in tactile warmth and a satisfyingly chunky texture that’s soft underfoot. Handcrafted from a wool blend in a traditional basketweave, its dense, sculpted construction gives a plush yet structured feel with long‑lasting resilience. Perfect for hallways and bedrooms, it layers beautifully to create a calm, stylish atmosphere for everyday family life. Why Wool? Choose wool for its natural durability, cosy warmth, and easy maintenance. Naturally resilient, wool fibres bounce back easily, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. They also act as a natural sound and heat insulator, helping to create a quieter, cosier space. The Rug Pictured is: 60cm x 220cm. Care:Wool is a natural fibre, and shedding is normal for a long period. Unroll your rug and leave for 24 hours during first use. Maintain your Wool rug by vacuuming regularly with a nozzle attachment, this will reduce shedding over time. Cut any loose fibres with scissors, do not pull. For accidental spills blot immediately and spot clean with a damp white cloth, do not rub or over saturate the fibres to keep them soft and plush. Add an anti-slip underneath your rug to prevent slipping. Rotate every few months to prolong the life of your rug.
I really like the wool basketweave runner for its blend of texture and neutral tone, which makes it versatile in various interior styles. It works particularly well in Scandinavian-inspired or modern farmhouse settings, where natural fibres and simple patterns are key. I’d suggest styling it in hallways or against wooden flooring for a warm, cosy feel. To enhance its look, layer it with colourful or textured runners during special occasions or add a few decorative bowls or trays at either end for practicality. Its durable wool composition also makes it a good choice for high-traffic areas, ensuring longevity without sacrificing style.
