I’m a fan of this rustic console for its mix of weathered-style wood and slim black metal frame - it feels solid without looking bulky. It works equally well in an industrial loft, a country-style hall or a pared-back Scandi living room. Use the top for a simple lamp and mirror combo, then add matching baskets on the lower shelves to corral scarves, shoes or magazines. Keep accessories minimal and balanced - for example, a low plant on one end, a neat stack of books on the other - so it stays practical and uncluttered.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
