Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of this waxed pine spindle bed for its clean lines and warm, natural finish. It’s incredibly versatile - it sits just as comfortably in a Scandi-inspired scheme with soft greys and whites as it does in a relaxed country cottage setting alongside floral fabrics or jute rugs. For styling, keep bedding simple: crisp white or oatmeal linens with a textured throw to pick up the pine tones. Add low-profile storage baskets beneath for magazines or extra blankets, and position a slim bedside table in matt black or pale wood to balance the look. A couple of muted cushions in soft blues or sage will lift the frame without overpowering its straightforward charm.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
