Our Stylist Says
This dining set is a versatile choice that combines rustic charm with contemporary comfort. The solid wood table grounds a variety of interior styles, from country cottages to modern urban spaces, while the velvet chairs add a touch of luxury and softness. I love pairing it with neutral or earthy tones for a relaxed, natural look, but it can also work well with bold accents for a more eclectic feel. Practical styling tips include adding a runner or placemats to protect the wood surface and layering with cushions on the chairs for extra comfort. Since the set includes a bench, it’s great for casual gatherings or smaller spaces where informal dining is preferred. Overall, it’s a durable, stylish piece that suits both everyday family life and more stylish entertaining.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
