Designed by Space Copenhagen, the Wonder 3-Seater Sofa with Chaise is brought to life by GUBI, presenting a reinterpretation of 1970s lounge furniture for a contemporary home. Updating the informal modular sofa style for a modern audience, the Wonder Sofa is a freestanding design displaying plump cushions softly folded over a clean, square-lined backrest, complete with a chaise for extra room. Utilising magnets to hold the cushions in place, the contrasting forms create a sense of balance and sophistication, exhibiting a generous seat and playful nature. Founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, Space Copenhagen works across multiple disciplines from furniture and lighting to art installations and interior design. The new collection for GUBI is a tribute to the relationship between design and craft, creating exceptional living artworks for the home.
