Created in 1972 by the celebrated Verner Panton, "Wire" is a unique luminous object, a testament to the incredible talent of its creator. The Lamp consists of a steel wire spiral, crowned by a hemispherical plastic lampshade. The Bulb is housed in a small metal reflector, also hemispherical, which guides the light into the lampshade. Wire imposes a resolutely retro style that continues to seduce design enthusiasts the world over. Now a design classic, the Wire floor lamp diffuses a soft light to great effect.
