Our Stylist Says
I love this deep red shaggy rug for bringing warmth and richness into a space. Its bold colour works particularly well in neutral or minimalist interiors, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the room. The deep shag texture makes it ideal for cosy areas like living rooms or bedrooms where comfort is key. For styling tips, pair it with natural fabrics such as linen or wool, and keep furniture low-key to let the rug be a statement piece. Its size makes it perfect for defining small seating areas or adding visual interest at the foot of a bed. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that can elevate the look of both modern and traditional settings.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
