Description
The impressive Recliner Armchair has been crafted to the highest standards, ensuring strength, durability, and supreme comfort. A recent addition to our Premier collection, the stands out for its unparalleled comfort. Upholstered in high-quality checkered fabric, it boasts a Push Back Recliner Mechanism, complemented by foam arms and pillow back support, allowing you to truly relax in this chair for extended periods. The supportive seating ensures comfort and targeted support. This model excels in lumbar support and offers full chaise seating. Operating the Push Back mechanism is straightforward: place your hands on the armrests, push forward on the arms, and lean backward using your body weight to recline the chair. The footrest rises in sync with the back reclining. Returning to the upright position is achieved by gently pushing the footrest down with your legs, locking it back into place as the back of the recliner returns to its original position. Since this chair relies solely on the user's body weight, leaning forward causes it to smoothly return to the original upright position.
Our Stylist Says
I love how the Windsor tartan adds a bold, traditional touch to any space, making it a standout feature in both classic and eclectic interiors. Its vibrant red pattern pairs well with neutral walls and wooden accents, creating a cosy yet stylish vibe. Because it’s a recliner, it’s practical for relaxing and adds functionality without sacrificing style. A good styling tip is to layer it with complementary accessories-think knitted throws, vintage cushions, or antique side tables-to enhance its traditional charm. It works especially well in living rooms or reading nooks aiming for a warm, inviting feel, and it’s versatile enough to blend into both period properties and more contemporary schemes when paired with modern accessories.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
