Description

Wilson Twin 20 Watt LED Outdoor Flood Light with PIR Sensor, Dark Grey

Our Stylist Says

I really like this floodlight for its sleek, dark grey finish, which makes it versatile enough to blend seamlessly into modern or traditional exteriors. The twin LED design not only offers strong, energy-efficient illumination but also gives a contemporary edge to outdoor spaces. It's a practical choice for highlighting pathways, patios, or garden features while the PIR sensor adds convenience and security. Styling-wise, it works well in minimalist or industrial-inspired settings, and I’d recommend pairing it with simple, understated outdoor fixtures to maintain a clean aesthetic. Position it strategically to ensure functional lighting that enhances the space without overwhelming it, making it both practical and visually balanced.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
