Description

Add dark accents to your home with ease with the Smoked Willow Ribbed Glass Base Table Lamp. The smoked finishing of this table lamp really puts it in a league of its own. The smoked glass shade adds that dark tone to the room and the anthracite coloured shade. However, don't let this fool you as once the bulb is radiating the shade allows for a stunning radiation of light to shine through illuminating your whole space.

Our Stylist Says

The Willow Ribbed Glass Table Lamp in Smoke is a versatile piece that works beautifully in both contemporary and minimalist interiors. I love how the smoky glass base adds a sense of understated sophistication, while the ribbed texture offers subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space. It’s ideal for side tables or bedside tables, providing ambient lighting that enhances a cosy atmosphere. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral or muted colour schemes to let the lamp stand out, or complement it with other glass and metallic accents for a cohesive, modern look. Its restrained colour palette makes it easy to incorporate into various settings, from living rooms to bedrooms.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
