Willow Potato Storage Hopper Basket - Grey

Price History
Description
An attractive hand-woven storage hopper that will be a useful addition to pretty much any work surface or storage area. Practical as well as stylish, the hopper has a 16cm x 10cm opening at the base to access the produce. The wicker has gaps in the sides which allow for circulation, keeping the crop cool and prolonging the storage life. The scooped access at the base allows the oldest potatoes to be used first. Easily filled with a handled lid, the hopper will hold a very generous 15-20kg of potatoes or any other root vegetable that is better out of the fridge.
Our Stylist Says
I love this potato storage hopper basket in grey for its practicality and neutral tone, making it versatile across many interiors. It works especially well in rustic, farmhouse, or coastal styles, where natural textures and muted colours are key. The neutral grey adds a contemporary touch, allowing it to complement other colour schemes effortlessly. For styling, I suggest keeping it in the kitchen or pantry to add a functional yet decorative element. You can also place it on a sideboard or utility area, filled with fresh produce or even towels or linen for a practical, organised look. Its woven design creates texture and character, enhancing the cosy, lived-in feel of a space without overwhelming the aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
