Description
This hand-made woven willow onion hopper will suit any food and fruit storage area, and with a traditional design, it makes a decorative attractive vegetable store. Designed with onions in mind, this product can still be utilised for other fruits and vegetables of a similar size. The onions are fed through a hole in the top of the unit and fall to the opening at the bottom ready to be used for cooking. The wicker design allows for air circulation throughout the hopper to improve storage life. Measuring 40cm x 30cm x 23cm, the traditional design of the onion hopper enables the onions that have been in the store for the longest time - therefore at the bottom - to be picked out first through the access mouth at the base.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
